The Darwin story continues with Darwin 4K. Designed to distribute stunning 4K30 video with hardware accelerated H.265 encoding, Darwin 4K delivers exceptional image quality at remarkably low bitrates. Compact, powerful and simple to deploy, Darwin supports PoE or DC power, unicast and multicast workflows, for one to one, and one to many configurations.
Darwin 4K goes further. A single Darwin 4K RX can receive and display multiple Darwin 4K TX streams as a single multiview output. Designed for sports bars, control rooms and anywhere content needs to reach screens, Darwin 4K delivers scalable AV over IP for installations of any size.
One to One. One to Many.
Configure a direct 1-to-1 connection for simple point-to-point, or scale up with 1-to- Many multicast, distributing your content to multiple endpoints simultaneously.
2160p 30HzThe Darwin 4K delivers pristine 3840 x2160 UHD resolution at 30Hz, ensuring true-to-life color and exceptional detail.
H.265. Hardware Aaccelerated EncodingThe Darwin 4K leverages H.265 hardware acceleration for ultra-efficient video compression, delivering stunning 4K quality at reduced bitrates.
From Sports Bar to Mission Control
MultiviewOne minute it’s every game on the wall. The next, the main event takes centre stage. Darwin 4K makes it easy to switch between overview and focus, delivering the flexibility needed for sports bars, security operations, network monitoring, control rooms, and live event environments.
36 Sources. One View.
Build Your Perfect Multiview. Why choose between games when you can watch them all? Darwin 4K can display up to 36 sources simultaneously on a single 4K screen, giving operators, venues, and control rooms complete visibility at a glance. Every source is live, every source is available, and nothing gets missed.
Drag, resize, layer, and position windows exactly where you want them. Create custom layouts in seconds, save them as presets, and instantly recall the right view for any event, shift, or venue. From simple quad splits to complex 36-window mosaics, Darwin 4K adapts to the way you work.
Darwin 4K Control
Adds Extra FeaturesAdding Darwin 4K Control hardware to your Darwin 4K cluster adds a ton of advanced features and simplifies management. Darwin 4K Control enables centralized WebGUI management, API support, and robust security with AES256 encryption, HTTPS, and SSH login. Dual network ports separating AV and control will keep the IT admins happy, while dual RS-232 ports and 4-channel GPIO control enable precise device management and trigger automation. Drag-and-drop routing with video previews and advanced video wall management makes managing your network of Darwin 4K Transmitters and Receivers a breeze.
Centralised Management & Control
Super Easy Drag & Drop RoutingEasily configure and manage your entire network of Darwin 4K Transmitters and Receivers through an intuitive WebGUI. Simplify complex setups with centralized control at your fingertips. Routing signals has never been easier. Built directly into the WebGUI is an intuitive drag and drop interface, you can quickly and easily route one to one or one to many.
Sleek, Professional Installations
Analog Audio I/O.Analog audio is covered on both TX and RX with a left and right analog input on the Darwin TX and left and right Analog breakout on the RX. Both ends use Euroblock connecters.
HDCP 1.4.Ensure total compatibility and compliance with copyright standards using HDCP 1.4.
PoE. DC. Or both.Power over Ethernet (PoE) streamlines installation with a single cable delivering both power and data, alternatively you can power with the included PSU. Or use PoE and DC for power redundancy.
Unicast. Multicast.Darwin 4K supports both Unicast and Multicast. Use Unicast for direct, one-to-one transmission, ensuring reliable performance with minimal network bandwidth. Switch to Multicast for efficient one-to-many distribution, perfect for sending the same content to multiple endpoints simultaneously.
Small Form Factor. The compact design makes it effortless to mount discreetly behind screens or in tight spaces. Perfect for sleek, professional installations.
Networking & Security.Advanced security features include AES256 encryption, HTTPS, and SSH login. These features ensure your data and controls remain safe, and your network is protected from unauthorized access.
Built Tough
All Metal ChassisDarwin are all housed in an all-metal chassis for maximum ruggedness. And yes, we painted them Turtle Aqua so you know it looks cool even if mounted under a table or in a rack room where no one will ever see them.
Independent RS-232 RoutingControl each display independently with RS-232 routing, enabling precise communication between devices. Customise commands for specific endpoints without interfering with others, ensuring seamless integration and control in complex AV setups.
Advanced EDID ManagementDarwin 4K simplifies connections with advanced EDID management, featuring automatic detection, as well as the ability to load custom EDID tables directly through the WebGUI.
