Product Overview

TRYX TURRIS 620 SE Cooler

The TRYX TURRIS 620 SE is a premium dual-tower CPU air cooler that combines serious thermal performance with an unusually large, customizable 5-inch display. It is designed for high-end Intel and AMD builds, with a 280 W TDP cooling capacity and a white finish intended to blend into performance-oriented systems.

High-Capacity Dual-Tower Cooling

The TURRIS 620 SE uses a dual-tower heatsink architecture with two stacked fin arrays and six copper heat pipes to move heat away from the CPU efficiently. Its micro-convex, nickel-plated copper base is designed to improve contact with the processor's heat spreader, supporting cooling for CPUs rated up to 280 W TDP.

This makes it suitable for demanding modern processors, including high-power Intel and AMD chips, while avoiding the complexity and potential leak risk of an all-in-one liquid cooler.

5-Inch Customizable IPS Display

Magnetic IPS display; upload and play custom GIFs, static images, or video files up to 500MB via KANALI. Real-time dynamic monitoring of CPU & GPU temperature, usage, and core frequency, keeping you informed of system status at a glance.

Designed for Silence

Dual-Tower Six Heat Pipes: Six composite heat pipes arranged to maximize effective thermal conductivity area.
Nickel-Plated Micro-Convex Copper Base: Nickel-plated copper base effectively prevents oxidation and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting cooling performance. Micro-convex design ensures optimal, even contact with the CPU.

Quiet ROTA Fan System

The cooler includes two 120 mm TRYX ROTA fans mounted on a rail system rather than traditional wire clips. The rail-mounted design is intended to make installation cleaner and easier while reducing micro-vibrations that can contribute to noise.

The fans operate from 500 to 1,850 RPM, delivering up to 66.32 CFM of airflow and 2.1 mmH2O of static pressure. Even at maximum speed, TRYX rates total noise at no more than 32.5 dBA, positioning the cooler as both powerful and relatively quiet under load.

SLF Silent Bearing

SLF bearing technology delivers near-frictionless operation, lower high-frequency bearing noise vs standard hydraulic bearings, and a rated MTBF of 50,000 hours.

Void-Free Soldering

Advanced Reflow Tech: Built using high-precision, void-free soldering for a flawless build.
Maximized Heat Transfer: An ultra-thin, uniform bond layer that significantly lowers thermal resistance.
Seamless & Durable: Built with timeless quality and performance made to last.

Broad Platform Compatibility

The TURRIS 620 SE supports Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets as well as AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms. TRYX includes socket-specific mounting hardware and offset options intended to optimize cooler contact and performance across different CPU layouts.

The cooler's 165 mm maximum height requires a roomy case, but its design provides up to 55 mm of RAM clearance and includes a heat-pipe offset intended to improve compatibility with large graphics cards.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
