Powerful Connectivity for your CreativityThe Topping E8x8 Pre audio interface is designed for musicians and audio professionals, with world-class performance for authentic recording and playback of your audio. Featuring 8 analogue inputs and 8 analogue outputs, with two USB ports, two headphone outputs and two optical outputs. This interface also includes 8 ultra-linear microphone preamplifier modules, and two NFCA-LE headphone amplifiers with sampling rates of up to 24bit 96kHz.
The E8x8 Ppre maintains a very low noise floor, so every detail of your recording is captured perfectly. The ultra-linear architecture allows the audio signal to be transmitted with utmost precision for crystal clear and transparent recording. Switchable 48V phantom power for each of the four inputs is available so the Topping E8x8 Pre is perfectly compatible with condenser and dynamic microphones. A unique LNRD module provides a stable reference power level for the AD/DA converter chip, unveiling the chip's full potential for highly defined audio transmission.

Two High-Performance Headphone Amplifiers
total controlThe E8x8 Pre has a noise floor of just 0.9uVrms and an output impedance of 1Ω, the NFCA-LE headphone amplifier modules allow for the use of high-sensitivity headphones without distortion and noise. The Topping E8x8 Pre includes two gain settings, high gain up to +17dBu and 2x580mW output power at 32Ω.
Together, the high gain and output power enables the Topping E8x8 Pre to easily accompany professional headphones with a high impedance of up to 600Ω. The E8x8 Pre is also has two headphone outputs, which can both be monitored and adjusted independently using the Topping Professional Control Center software and dedicated volume knobs.
Zero-Latency Monitoring
wide dynamic rangeWith zero-latency, audio effects can be monitored in real time during recording or mixing, for increased productivity. The volume knobs on the line and headphone outputs employ an analogue potentiometer, resulting in oustanding precision for easy sound level control. Line outputs also have a dynamic range of 127dB, and headphone outputs have 132dB.
The three 16-channel input mixers allow the adjustment and control of the audio effects to be easily adjusted. The 8 DAW channels and 6 LoopBack channels are also designed to adapt to different recording, mixing and playback needs.
World-Class Design
high-resolution audioThe Topping E8x8 Pre uses an excellent USB XMOS interface, compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems. This supports high-resolution audio streams for recording and playback, up to PCM 24bit 96kHz. Each of the four inputs are evenly mixed, providing improved compatibility with mobile devices.
Dual USB-C portsUSB-C connectivity is used for data transmission and power. To avoid interference, the auxiliary power connector is more suitable if the E8x8 Pre is used together with a desktop computer, or if 48V phantom power is required. An external power supply is also recommended when the sound card is used with a smartphone.
Two optical outputsTwo Toslink optical outputs (SPDIF/ADAT) are capable of delivering up to 24bit 96kHz. The audio content to be output via the Toslink ports can be precisely selected to provide improved flexibility and interface extension scenarios.
Independent clock outputThe clock output on BNC connector allows multiple devices to be paired by synchronizing the clock signal to reduce jitter and improve the audio quality.
Aluminum chassisThe Topping E8x8 Pre is kept safe and secure thanks to its sturdy and durable aluminum-alloy chassis, whilst providing a sleek and modern aesthetic.
