The roasted poplar body is paired with a Canadian roasted maple neck and a Hi Graded Ebony Tech fingerboard. The Modern D neck profile and 14" radius give the T-407 a contemporary playing feel, while the 48mm seven-string nut provides the additional width needed for comfortable access across the extended range. With 24 jumbo frets, there’s plenty of room for lead work, bends and more technical playing styles.

The 26.5" scale is a useful choice for a seven-string, giving the lowest string extra tension for heavier tunings and tighter riffing. It also helps the guitar retain a familiar feel across the upper strings, making the T-407 a practical option for players moving between standard six-string techniques and extended-range material.
