Product Overview

Newly Evolved Design

After bringing Mini-ITX into mainstream DIY (do it yourself) market in 2009 with the Sugo SG05, SilverStone is looking to define the category again with SG13, a newly evolved design that aims to satisfy every type of computer users. The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Silverstone Sugo SG13B Cube Mini-ITX/DTX Case (ATX PSU) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant SFF case for the money! I bought this case to replace a Kolink Rocket SFF case I was using that was making my GPU too hot for my liking. The SG13 from my experience building, was a very pleasant case to work with, and fit my components inside quite easily without much fuss. I opted to go for an air cooled build, using a 120mm intake, Noctua 120mm low profile CPU cooler, and a Noctua 92mm fan zip tied to exhaust warm air out of the side vent next to the motherboard. So far my CPU temps are a tad higher at idle compared to my old case, but my GPU temps are much improved! Very happy with the performance and quality of this case, especially for the price. There are no tool-less features and removing the front panel is a bit fiddly, but all the components and screws are good quality. My build: Ryzen R5 3600 Geforce RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition Noctua NH-L12S CPU cooler Corsair SF750 SFX power supply (using an ATX to SFX adapter to fit the back panel of this case, this gives an extra 20mm clearance for the CPU cooler for a total of 80mm clearance, vs 60 allowed by an ATX power supply, this was key to allowing the Noctua cooler, which performs very well)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant case for a tiny ITX build I bought this case after a lot of research on mITX cases. Many of them seemed rather large and defeated the point of a tiny but powerful PC. The Sugo provided exactly what I was after. The case itself is pretty attractive in metal and black plastic, with a mesh panel on the front. There is a lot of space inside and you can remove the various parts including the mounts for HDDs/SSDs and the PSU bracket. It will possibly fit a full size ATX PSU but this may also foul on any CPU cooler. I had gone for a Corsair H80i and the pipes on this were pushing too much against my PSU so I added an SFX one instead. There is room for a large GPU but be sure to check sizes. The outer shell has been very cleverly designed with a large grill that should line up with the fans on most GPUs, allowing it to pull in air from outside. Of course this means no dust filtration. I was able to fit the aforementioned cooler into the front of the case, it will also fit a 140mm fan there but this will take away room for the GPU. I did use an m.2 drive for my build which greatly reduced cables needed, so I can't comment on the ease of fitting in 2.5" or 3.5" drives. All in all, a very nice and very well priced case for a tiny build. Quality is high for what you are paying, and it wasn't difficult to work with. I would always suggest a modular PSU and be careful with any all in one coolers as the pipes do need to have some space when you bend them round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great replacement/substitute for my old case! I bought this case as I was getting a few heat issues in my Lian Li TU100. The problem with the Lian Li, is that there is little space for the graphics card to vent, and I haven't found a blower-style mini-itx card that could have solved the problem. So I decided that I would get a new case either as a replacement, or as somewhere to house my system while I mod the Lian Li. Well, I have to say that it might take me a while to make the effort with the TU100, because this case is fantastic! My GPU is running under 30 degrees idle, and barely hits 75 under load! This case is easy to install in, and even has room for all-in-one liquid solutions. For around £35, this case is brilliant for a small-size high power system. Buy it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Case for price but not perfect It allows for a lot of potential and can fit most hardware inside at an itx form factor. A liquid cooler fits perfectly. The only bad points are the case, i think dust filters should be on all vents as there is a lot of open vents and with such a small space and being annoying to clean, it would help greatly. The only other bad thing is that its not the best one on the market, there are some others with similar cooling, filter and hardware capability and options but have extra features and slightly better placement of things inside. However i do not think this is bad, for the price, its good.

Will there be enough clearance for a h90 and SSD

I will be mounting my SSD onto the floor of the case so I am unsure whether my MSI gtx 770 and SSD will interfere with the radiator.
Asked by: BinaryJava
I've not seen someone use the bottom SSD mount AND an AIO liquid cooler before, but I would suggest that you consider bodging it a bit. As SSDs have no moving components, you don't have to worry about shock damage. So get yourself some stick on Velcro and pop the SSD wherever you can find space! There will be a way.
