Rated 4 out of 5 by from For use for a SSD install in 2007 20" imac The SDP08 fitted perfectly in the iMac's HDD bay. BUT once the SSD was installed within, it became very apparent that the iMac's SATA & Power cables were not long enough for an easy connection, about 2 mm short! However by experimenting & securing the SSD with 2 screws, bending the 2 remaining SSD mounts away, a tight but perfect connection was achieved (with the iMac's heat sensor re-attached to the SSD!). Patience is of virtue!! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well made What is there to say about a bracket? - the bay converter is well made and of strong construction, the main point is that all the holes, both for drive support and case mounting all aligned precisely, which is not always the case. Two SSDs can be mounted on it so no need for further brackets should you want a second SSD in your system - well worth the money.
