Next-Generation Dynamic Drivers
super-wide frequency spectrum!Whilst most in-ears utilise multi-driver solutions derived from hearing aids, Sennheiser used a next-generation single dynamic driver for the IE 100 Pro range. Research showed that the frequency range needn’t be split up into sections, thus remaining harmonious as a whole. The sound is well-rounded whilst the frequency spectrum has been noticeably broadened.
There’re no distortions either due to the special diaphragm – rather unlike the more rigid drive principles involved in multi-way drivers – resonating swiftly, even at peak sound levels. Issues with phase and dissonances in the inner ear are also therefore precluded.
Small but mighty!Packing mighty sound, whilst remaining small enough to comfortably fit your ear, this complex driver system showcases a considerably expanded sound spectrum to the ears of musicians, sound engineers and DJs.
The design on the other hand, has been optimised, tested against countless ear shapes and redesigned. The end result is super flat, sits securely and doesn’t carry almost any noticeable weight, even over the longest of sessions.
