Innovative Dual-DiaphragmThe Sennheiser E996 handheld true-condenser microphone features a large-diaphragm and an innovative dual-diaphragm capsule. You can easily change from a cardioid polar pattern to supercardiod polar pattern using the switch located under the protective enclosure at the top of the microphone, which can be unscrewed on and off for ease of access.
To help eliminate wind and rumble noise, the Sennheiser E965 also includes a low-cut switch and a 10dB pad. Along with a fantastic frequency response at 40Hz-20kHz and sensitivity you would expect from high end studio condenser microphones. This is all stored in a rugged exterior casing for long life use.

The First of Its KindThe Sennheiser E965 is the first handheld, large-diaphragm, true-condenser microphone to include the inventive dual-diaphragm capsule. This allows you to switch between both cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns with one switch, which proves to be very useful for going between more directional pick up and a wider pick up choice.

The E695 features a low-cut switch noise to reduce excess rumble noise commonly found on stage and a switchable 10dB pad to accommodate for the vocalists with higher output.
To reduce handling noise and protect against moisture, the microphone is finished with a rugged capsule shockmount, whilst not effecting the astounding 40Hz – 20kHz frequency response. Included is a protective pouch and an MZQ 800 microphone clip which can easily be added to most microphone stands.
