The BL8 features a half-cardioid pattern and a high-quality 3-micron true condenser diaphragm, ensuring outstanding sensitivity in the lower frequency range, which makes it an excellent choice for capturing kick drums.
Equipped with convenient onboard controls, including two selectable low-cut frequencies (80 or 160 Hz), two attenuation levels (-10 or -20 dB), and two EQ voicings (Classic or Modern), the BL8 exhibits remarkable versatility. Its capabilities extend far beyond kick drums, allowing for exceptional clarity when capturing ambient room sounds, pianos, and more.
