Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT PULSE 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card, 7nm RDNA, 2560 Streams, 1670MHz GPU, 1925MHz Boost is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great card let down by the quality of build After researching, I bought this card for the quietness and performance, and it delivers both. Playing games doesn't produce any obnoxious sound levels and it chews through Borderlands 3 @ 1080p ultra settings easily. However the build quality of the card has let it down with my card at least, as I see GPU memory temperatures of 100 degrees plus! The highest I've seen so far is 106, and on average it runs at 102 degrees while gaming. This is about 20 degrees above several reviews I've read about the card and leads me to think that my card was built poorly. Scan have been good enough to have the card back for testing, but since there were no memory errors in their test, I've had to have the card back. This leaves me with a card I suspect may end up failing, and without confidence in it any time I have an issue with my rig, I can't be sure if it's this card or something else. For example, I'm having a new issue with resuming from sleep, but to properly diagnose it, I will have to remove this card, swap it with a card in my kids PC just to rule it out from other possibilities. The attached picture shows me running Borderlands 3 at main menu then switching out to do a quick memory test in OCCT (the test program Scan used). The synthetic benchmark actually cools the memory from 102 in game to ~90.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent when it works, horrible when it doesn't I have somewhat mixed feelings about this card. I brought it on sale when it was significantly cheaper than the 2070 which performance wise its on par with, and even beats it in some cases. However from day 1 I have had problems with AMD drivers, which are known to be notoriously bad and it showed. Most titles and AAA games I had no problems with at all. Games ran very smoothly at 1440p, however some crashed constantly which I did not have any issues with prior with Nvidia, and some completely locked out my PC, forcing me to restart. Early on this happened with simple videos online like YouTube, although a few patches later seemed to have fixed this. VR is extremely hit and miss. Some titles again run great, others refuse to run or have problems (e.g. I had an issue with Boneworks where all text was appearing in one eye screen, again patched at a later date). It did seem to be different on each game so these issues may all get fixed as well. I don't own any titles with Ray Tracing so it's not been a thing I've been bothered about. All in all, looking back I think I would of rather paid that little bit extra to get a Nvidia card with much more stable drivers as it is infuriating when it crashes whilst your in the middle of something. I can't argue though that value is excellent when it does work. This is not specifically a problem with this particular card but the 5700XT's in general. The card itself is lovely. Runs cool even under load and the build quality is great. I would suggest waiting a few month from this review to let the drivers mature and fixes to come out, then get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top AMD bang for buck Bought this as an interim GPU while my 1080Ti was out for RMA and honestly blown away by the performance to price! £400 for a second hand 1080Ti or £380 for a new top end AMD slab with warranty and a free copy of Breakpoint... no brainer really! Quality all the way performs on par with my 1080Ti in almost all AAA titles at 1440p honestly if your budget stretches to one I'd get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No problems at all As the title suggests, I've had no problems. The drivers install just fine on Windows 10, the thermals are all under control when gaming, and have had no problems playing Rage2 and The Outer Worlds on Ultra settings with 60FPS+ the vast majority of the time. It would be really nice to change the "SAPPHIRE" logo from something that isn't lit with RED but I do not believe these are RGB so... stuck with red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful card at good value This is a very powerful graphics card with excellent features. Linked to a good quality freesync monitor (we have a 1080p screen) the picture is detailed, colours and textures are rich and realistic and motion is smooth and fluid, maxing out frame rates (240 fps) at high game graphics settings. Microsoft FSX, for example, is a joy at maximum settings. Compared to the main competition (NVIDIA) I think this is excellent value. Software is also a joy to use compared to buggy and clunky NVIDIA software. Bear in mind that you'll need a power supply that's got enough juice to feed this thing - 650W or more - and you'll also need a CPU that's powerful enough to do it justice. We're getting occasional bottlenecking with an 8th gen 6-core Intel i5, guess that's the next upgrade...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problamatic drivers I had issues with this card from day one. Scan wouldn't offer an exchange so be careful ordering this. I did a full system clean of my previous drivers in safe mode but still no joy. I have improved system stability doing the following. 1 Disable fast boot in bios and in windows 2 Disable HDCP in the radeon drivers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant gaming card I would like to say this graphic cards is a beutiful piece of art plugged in to pc it does run quite hot producing alot of heat when running pc games like gta 5 ff14 tomb raider and mmos that require full usage , only downfall with this card now is u can buy a standard amd rx5700 for cheaper price and bios flash it to a amd rx5700XT but other than that price wise fair price competing with nvidia cards this card is bag for buck plus u get 3 months pc gamers pass but this is advertised as 6 months free which u dont get so buyers be aware when looking at free xbox pass so overall 9 out of 10
