Complete Windshield KitThe Rycote Modular Windshield WS 8J Kit is the professional’s choice when maximum isolation from wind and handling noise is required.

This complete modular system can be configured to allow almost any microphone to be shock-mounted and provide carrying degrees of windshielding. The Modular Suspension offers complete isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noise by supporting the microphone cable arrangement with Lyre suspension webs.

The windshield basket offers up to 30dB of wind noise attenuation by completely surrounding the microphone and its connector with this first layer of windshield protection. The windjammer is a high-quality, synthetic fur cover designed to fit over the modular windshield and offer an additional 20dB of wind noise attenuation.
