hands-on controls!The TR-808 is arguably responsible for the entirety of modern step sequencing, and the TR-6S’s 16 backlit, per-step pads instantaneously invoke memories of this important piece in music history. Alongside the retro TR-REC recording method which set the bar for so many drum machines which followed, the TR-6S features intuitive hands-on controls for simple programming of each step with its parameter settings.
Select pattern sizes up to 32 steps long, with A and B parts and easy chaining to create even longer sequences. Furthermore, with thanks to its flexible architecture, it’s so simple to switch back and forth between performing and sequencing to make new grooves and beats on the fly!
