Wavetable Synthesizer
Roland - n/vision
Modern Meets VintageThe Roland n/vision is a small yet mighty synthesizer that combines the character of classic 1980s wavetable instruments with Roland's latest technologies. This all-new boutique instrument is a powerful platform for crafting rich sounds and evolving textures, offering hands-on control for immediate creative interaction and deep menu-driven tools for sophisticated sound design. Inspired by pioneering ’80s-era wavetable synthesizers, n/vision allows players to craft evolving digital textures with a familiar hands-on synthesizer workflow. Blend and shape two wavetable layers to create animated movement, evolving pads, aggressive leads, and complex timbres.

Immersive and Inspirational
Advanced Oscillator ModulationMultiple modulation sources can influence wavetable position, layer balance, pitch, and shaping parameters, enabling highly dynamic sound movement.
Wave ShaperWave shaper technology transforms incoming waveforms with non-linear processing, generating new harmonics and unique textures beyond the capabilities of traditional wavetable synthesis.
Rich ProcessingDial in a limitless range of tonal characters with a drive-enabled analogue-modeling filter and multiple filter models inspired by classic synthesizers. There’s also an MFX engine with 17 effect types plus dedicated delay and hall/shimmer reverb, providing extensive sound-shaping and spatial enhancement options.
Deep ModulationStep LFO, envelope modulation, oscillator modulation, motion recording, and extensive parameter control unlock powerful sound-design capabilities for advanced users.
Polyphonic Sequencer and ArpeggiatorCreate basslines, chords, and melodic sequences with a two-part, 64-step polyphonic sequencer that supports up to eight notes per step plus motion recording. An arpeggio function is also available for crafting dynamic, evolving sounds on the fly.
