This ready-to-play solution sports a standard 22”, high-grade, all-maple acoustic drum shell with Roland’s revolutionary kick trigger electronics preinstalled.

Roland’s intelligent and innovative air-damper mechanics work in tandem with the 22” acoustic shell to ‘move air’ and offer resistance as the beater hits the head, delivering reliable and precision triggering with a natural feel. The ‘KD-220’ works perfectly well with double kick pedals, and is compatible with most V-Drums sound modules. Roland’s KD-220 is also a magnificent fit for hybrid acoustic-electronic setups, melding together the appearance and presence of a traditional kick, with the convenience of triggering any drum sound you so wish!
