Less work, more playRoland’s FA series is completely new take on the music workstation, redesigned for effortless real-time power, ultra-fast workflow, and more versatility than ever. Each model in the series comes with a collection of sounds, studio-quality effects, and expressive real-time controls, you also get onboard sampling with zero load time for instant playback from 16 pads.
An integrated sequencer provides easy operation and non-stop loop recording, and you can easily export tracks for further development with your DAW. Available models include the 61-note FA-06 and 76-note FA-07, which both comes with velocity-sensitive keyboards with synth action, and the FA-08, which features an 88-note keyboard with weighted action.
Music workstations are incredibly important for keyboardists used in a wide range of creative activities. Although, they sometimes can often be complicated and difficult to use to their full potential, slowing down the creative process. When designing the FA series, Roland have completely reimagined the music workstation to let your inspiration flow, allowing you to perform on stage and effortlessly develop musical ideas.
This item is B-Grade, supplied directly from Roland, where It has been used for review and demonstration purposes, so may have minor cosmetic imperfections and slight signs of use. As there are no shows or event happening at the minute, they've agreed to offer this on to you at a substantial discount.
This item has been checked by Roland staff before shipping to us and comes with a 1 year warranty. This particular unit is not in it's original packaging, but that just means that you can get an even better deal, than if it was.

Instant-Access Performance
Everything Within ReachThe sampler in the FA series comes with fast, hands-on operation and sampling/playback using convenient SDHC cards. You can play audio samples directly from the 16 pads on the front panel, making it easy to expand your performances with loops, backing tracks, one-shots, vocal phrases, sound FX, and more. And thanks to SDHC flash memory, your samples load instantly, without any waiting.
Enhanced Studio Sets
Master Rig ControlWith the FA series, a studio set stores 16 tones and the miltiple parameters associated with them, including level, pan, effects, and more. Master control functionality has now been added to studio sets, allowing you to use the FA as a master controller for a large studio or live rig.
You can save MIDI messages such as bank select, program change, volume, and many others. This info is sent out via MIDI when you select the studio set, so you can reconfigure the FA and multiple external devices with a single command.
Seamless DAW integration
Dedicated ControlAlong with its impressive standalone performance, the FA series easily transitions into any DAW environment. With a press of the DAW Control button, you can instantly set up the keyboard to communicate with your software via USB. Dedicated control maps for popular DAWs with quick setup for operating transport functions and other parameters in your software.
You can also use the FA as a USB audio interface to record a range sources directly into your DAW and monitor them through the stereo output and headphones jack. A free license for Ableton Live Lite is now included with every FA keyboard, enabling you to pair up your instrument with a powerful DAW instantly. USB communication requires installation of the FA-series USB driver on your computer.
