Introducing the LANCOOL 217
The LANCOOL 217 has been turning heads since its first teaser—and now that it’s here, it lives up to every bit of the build-up. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it absolutely earns it, with clean lines, wood-accented panels, and a layout that rewards both careful planning and raw creativity. It's compact by today's standards, but there's a surprising amount of room to work with—and no wasted space. From high-spec GPU support and dual PSU layouts to out-of-the-box airflow and support for pretty much every mainstream motherboard (including hidden-connector boards and EEB), this is a chassis built with the current wave of builders firmly in mind. Every detail—from the tool-free fans to the dual power buttons—feels considered.
Bold, Sleek & Beautiful
From the front, the 217 commands attention with its simplicity. The slatted front panel is custom-cut, backed by a gated mesh that blends airflow with attitude. Pop that off, and you’ve got full access to the fan plate behind—no plastic covers, no gimmicks, just a clean, raw layout. The side panel is tempered glass, with soft wood accents surrounding it which add warmth and modesty to the look.
Fit for Every Build
Designed for near-universal compatibility, this chassis supports a wide range of form factors: ITX, mATX, ATX, E-ATX, EEB, and even reversed or hidden-connector boards (like ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero). CPU clearance sits at 180mm, so most coolers will fit comfortably. GPU clearance is generous at up to 380mm, making it a solid option for current high-performance cards. A PCIe slot bracket is included and can be rotated 90° for vertical GPU mounting. In this configuration, the lower intake fan can be repositioned beneath the PSU shroud to preserve cooling without disrupting the aesthetic.
The Art of Cooling
This case comes loaded—literally. Five fans pre-installed, ready to rip. Two massive 170mm fans at the front crank out 142.56 CFM each, shifting serious air with low RPMs and keeping noise in check. Two 120mm fans sit above the PSU shroud, aimed directly at your GPU for proper airflow where it counts. A 140mm fan at the rear handles exhaust duty. The front panel pops off clean, and behind it shows a full fan bracket. Load it up with 120s, 140s, or go full tilt with 170s. You’ve also got room up top for a 360mm or 280mm radiator (60mm and 85mm thick, respectively), and the bracket lifts out completely so you’re not fighting the frame when it’s time to wrench things in.
Dual PSU Layout & Storage
You can pack a ton of storage into this chassis. Two drive cages take 3.5” HDDs or 2.5” SSDs, plus there's extra SSD mounts behind the board and on the PSU shroud. Using a rear-mounted mATX board will drop your SSD mount count by one, but you’re still not short on space. For expanded storage, the PSU can be rotated 90° to face the side of the chassis, allowing installation of both HDD cages—provided the PSU is under 180mm in length.
User-Friendly Features
I/O includes 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB Type-C, and a combo audio jack, all sitting vertically along the front side edge. You’ve got two power buttons—one under the logo panel up front, and another on the I/O edge. Inside, a USB hub helps keep headers neat and extensions minimal. Every storage mount is accounted for: dual SSD trays, dual HDD cages (expandable), and even a tucked SSD slot on the PSU shroud. All of it fits around the modular fan system, so airflow never gets boxed in.
