QNAP QXG-10G2T-X710 Network Expansion Card

The QNAP QXG-10G2T-X710 is a powerful dual-port 10GbE network expansion card designed to fit into a PCIe Gen 3 slot (also compatible with PCIe Gen 2). Equipped with an Intel Ethernet Controller X710, this card supports speeds of 10Gbps, 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, and 100Mbps. Featuring SR-IOV and iSCSI support, it is well-suited for demanding tasks and data centre operations. Additionally, the card comes with a pre-installed low-profile bracket, with full-height and specialized brackets provided for selected QNAP NAS models.


SR-IOV Support

The QXG-10G2T-X710 supports SR-IOV, which can allocate bandwidth resources from a physical network card directly to VMs. It ensures reliable VM applications and reduced CPU overheads. The QXG-10G2T-X710 also supports iSCSI, which enables computers, servers, or virtual machines to use storage from your QNAP NAS as virtual disks. You can partition, format, and use these virtual disks exactly like local disks, or even use them for storage expansion or as backup destinations.
