Will this work as an accelerometer?

My son is trying to set a simple accelerometer for a design project. Ideally looking for something which is easy to set up without expert electronics knowledge as he has no background in tech. How does this take readings ? Is it portable ? Thanks

Hi, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not state whether or not this is possible so we would be unable to guarantee that this will work. Regards,
