The MOTIV MVi has a host of versatile connection options, and supports full connectivity to any PC, Mac or iOS device with ‘Lightning Connector’, alongside the majority of Android devices, to ensure you are always able to record your ideas whenever your creative juices are flowing.
Housed in a tough all-metal chassis, the MOTIV MVi packs a combined XLR and 6.3mm input to allow for use with both microphones and instruments. Once connected to a laptop/PC, it’s also able to provide phantom power as per your requirements.
The compact, sleek MOTIV MVi features 5 preset DSP modes (speech, singing, flat, acoustic instrument and loud) which adjust audio settings automatically to allow you to record straight away with minimum fuss. The integrated touch panel also has responsive controls for gain, mute and headphone volume. If however, you require some additional fine tunings for a certain purpose, you’re able to tweak limiters, compressors and the 5-band EQ manually to find your own sound.

Whilst some devices allow you to recall numerous presets from their control panels, the ‘MOTIV’ iOS app enables you to bask in the entire MOTIV DSP engine. From within the ShurePlus MOTIV app, you can choose to dial in your MVi’s gain level, add compression and limiter, and then fully determine the frequency response via graphic EQ.
ShurePlus’s ‘MOTIV’ app even makes recording in iOS simpler than ever. The UI is simple to understand and get to grips with, editing is rapid and intuitive, you can enjoy full 24-bit/48kHz digital resolution, and compatibility with Dropbox and various other exporting options.

choose from WAV/AAC/ALAC audio formatsAvailable to each and every MOTIV user on iOS, is the MOTIV Video app. A one stop solution for premium video and audio capture. It sports all the ease of use of the MOTIV audio app, such as gain control, EQ and compression.
Visual indicators of audio metering aids in keeping signal levels at an optimum range, and you’re free to choose from WAV/AAC/ALAC audio formats, and dependent on your device of choice, you can choose from 720p/1080p/4K video resolutions.
