the simple route to loudness-compliant audio Nugen Audio’s ‘LM-Correct 2’ offers an immediate and simple route to making loudness-compliant audio, all done whilst saving time and preventing costly errors. Used within a DAW/NLE, or, as a stand-alone app, ‘LM-Correct’ 2’ packs automated compliance with look ahead ‘True-Peak’ correction. Used alongside a real-time meter, the software saves iterative adjustments to the mix as the target level is approached, enabling transparent in-edit ‘quick-touch’ finishing of audio.

With file-based processes, ‘LM-Correct’ quickly determines and adjusts the whole file faster than real time. Swiftly managing audio files from mono through 5.1, the software is fully compliant with all current loudness standards, and should it be needed, the optional dialogue-gated measure can be specified. Audio is able to be transformed with a single click from one specification to the next, with faster than real-time processing when delivering multiple versions or re-purposing for different regions and play-out specifications is required.
