It hands audio post-production engineers all the controls required to curate panoramic extensions of stereo TV mixes, quickly develop a 7.1 cinematic experience, upmix stems/full mixes to 1st-order Ambisonic (AmbiX format) for VR applications, and bed tracks that are compatible with Dolby Atmos 7.1.2.

Halo Upmix’s real-time analysis of your original stereo source identifies and picks up on locational cues to allow the software to widen the panorama without ever bringing artificial reverberation, chorusing or delay. The ‘Exact’ mode aids in generating a coherent spatial sound, which helps maintain the balance between the original, upmixed and downmixed versions. The ‘Advanced’ function hands you the powerful tools you need for working with intricate mixes where access to the original stems is unavailable. It also features neural-network based dialogue extraction.

Perfect for sound design, gamers and all other immersive applications, the included 3D ‘Immersive Extraction’ delivers top-tier Ambisonic output to upmix, re-purpose, or convert channel-based audio for a true Ambisonic workflow.
