Launchkey MK3 is Novation’s hugely intuitive and fully integrated MIDI keyboard controller designed to work seamlessly within Ableton Live and with your external hardware. The Launchkey experience was designed with players from all backgrounds and abilities in mind. With Launchkey MK3, no matter your prior experience, it’s possible to create and perform like never before. With a broad range of musical creation features, all of which are able to be used standalone, Novation’s Launchkey tears down creative barriers and is capable of expanding the musical vocabulary of all keyboard players.
8 scale modes guide you towards new musical territory, by transposing to notes correspondent to the scale selected. Just choose your root note and your preferred scale, then play! 3 chord modes turn Launchkey’s keys and pads into an interactive surface of musical exploration and potential, where each note played is linked, be it harmonically and/or tonally, allowing you to play with unhindered freedom. The onboard arpeggiator enables you to explore new melodies and find new ideas quickly, whilst the ‘mutate’ function reconstructs your patterns into exciting new forms.
