Product Overview The NH-L9i is a premium quality quiet CPU cooler for Intel LGA115x based HTPCs and Small Form Factor systems. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

Chassis Airflow

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best CPU fan I've ever owned Quiet, good quality, very well packaged, comes with everything you need including thermal paste and even a metal Noctua badge for your case. The mounting works really well and feels very solid compared with the cheap Intel stock CPU coolers. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelent cooling set Hi, I found everything fine. the hole cooling unit ( fan and sink) works brilliant with no clash with memory module or anything. That was a surprise how silent it is.It operates at the moment in an 65mm case that is currently open. When I closed the panel it was extremely noisy due to the close distance. I tend to solve the issue probably by replacing the 84W TDP cpu with less hungry one.

it would probably cool the cpu better than the stock intel cooler, but if you are thinking of overclocking you will need something bigger
