XR-DR1 Antenna Driver
The XR-DR1 antenna driver is designed to detect and process when an RFID-tagged product is picked up or placed down, making it perfect for interactive digital signage applications like "Lift & Learn" or "Place & Learn." These systems are commonly used in retail to trigger content, such as videos or lighting effects, when customers interact with products on display. The XR-DR1 can manage up to 250 items, making it versatile for larger setups. The RFID tags used with this system are standard MiFare 1K tags, often seen in access cards and transit passes. These tags can be pre-programmed with specific numbers (1-250) or purchased blank for custom programming and labeling, depending on your needs.
Nexmosphere Xperience
Connecting the XR-DR1 to any Nexmosphere Xperience controller is simple, using a single X-talk cable. Once connected, the settings can be easily configured on the controller, ensuring seamless integration into your digital signage setup. It’s designed to be user-friendly and compatible with all Nexmosphere Xperience controllers, which also power and configure the driver.
A New Layer of Immersion
When paired with the XR antenna, the system registers when an RFID-tagged item, such as a high-end smartphone or a designer handbag, is picked up or placed back down on the antenna. For instance, if a customer lifts a tagged product from the display, the Xperience controller can trigger a nearby screen to play a video about the product’s features or light up an LED strip to highlight the item. This creates an engaging, interactive shopping experience. The system is highly responsive and capable of detecting multiple tags simultaneously, with support for up to four RFID tags at once.
