Maschine MkII Full Size Controller
This full size Maschine controller from Native Instruments sits in the middle of the range, and strikes a great balance of features that expand on the Maschine environment found in the Mikro, offering you even more hands on control, tactile response and visual feedback for quicker sampling, editing and improved workflow for your live performances. The Maschine offers a number of handy physical features over the more diminutive Mikro, including 2 large screens and 8 additional rotary dials as well as more buttons and grouping features that give you quick access and enable more intuitive control over the powerful editing and management software that gives you access to the huge 8GB+ sample Maschine library. At the core of the Maschine is its ability to combine the flexibility of software along with the speed and unsurpassed intuitive control that can only be offered by dedicated hardware, that allows you to create rhythms, bass lines, chords and melodies, and build tracks quickly on-the-fly.

The dual 256 x 64 pixel displays found on this Maschine offer a larger workable screen space than the Mikros single screen 128 x 64 Pixel display, and as such allows you to see and edit your waveforms on the controller on the fly whilst sampling, making it ideal in situations where the laptop may otherwise be tucked away from view.
Maschine MkII Software
The Maschine software gives you a high-performance sampler, professional effects and full support for your plug in’s both as a stand-alone performance unit as well as being capable of being fully integrated as a plug in within your sequencer of choice.
With a collection of more than 8GB banks of samples, patterns and effects for all styles with many of the library patches being created by renowned artists and producers, the Maschine is extremely usable straight out of the box, just plug it in and through using the Maschine super-simple browser you can start playing immediately.
However if you wish to delve even deeper in, then Maschine itself offers a number of synth engines designed to make drum synthesis a breeze complete multiple engines for building your ideal kick, snare, hi-hats, toms and general percussion. Alongside those also comes the Komplete Select pack as well which offers the classic Massive as well as a handful of other synths, emulations & 24 effects round off the Maschine package.
SETUP EXAMPLE
If already own a selection of other Native Instruments software or even the full Komplete collection itself, then the Maschine controller lets you find and load these inside of its environment, for quick access and hands on tweak-ability which turn it into a fully featured production environment in standalone mode.
