Rated 5 out of 5 by rizz good quality board, there are better for its price range
let me start by saying that the quality of the board is great and just what I expected from msi, its got a very thick strong feel to it and the matt black finish looks really nice against a white case, fans, etc. I bought this board after my asus sabertooth started to get random ram errors and as its my spare system my wife sometimes uses I didn't want to spend a great amount on a motherboard, ive always used msi boards were I could and i choose this as I went with a black and white colour scheme and it does look amazing in the nzxt s340 case. I have had no issues with the board at all and everything has been perfect over the week ive been using it, I do have a couple of complaints and this is with the location of some of the connectors, to start with the usb 3 connector is in a terrible place, I use the msi gaming 5 board in my intel system and it is in a much better location on that board, the issue is only really a problem when using sli or crossfire and you are using thick gpu cards as I am using 2 560 ti,s in sli and the bottom card seems to push the connector down bending the plug but its not a major issue, the other issue is again when using dual gpu,s and wanting the use all 6 sata ports as the bottom card partially covers 2 of the sata connctions luckily I only use the 4 on the side of the board so wasn't a problem but will be for anyone wanting to use sli and all 6 sata ports, other than that the board is excellent and works fine even when overclocking my fx 6300 over 4.5ghz. I would recommend this board but unless you really want the white colour scheme I would also highly recommend the msi 970 gaming as it is slightly better laid out with all the sata ports on the side but for the price this is excellent and im sure it will be perfect for many years like all my msi boards.

This motherboard is fantastic! The BIOS is super simple and straight forward. A flaw I saw though is that in the On board check, it says that one of my fans are disabled but...it is not.
Also, the MOBO cannot handle an 8 core CPU. My MOBO has reached up to 80 Degrees in simple Warcraft game play which is ridiculous. It may be better with a 6 core.
