The Nucleus takes full advantage of it’s two different tone woods, both maple and walnut. The maple brings the warmth and traditional snare character, whilst the walnut offers a very powerful and cutting attack.
Featuring a thick 8.1mm shell, Mapex’s Nucleus is the perfect snare to project this exciting mix of sonic power, all whilst delivering thunderous low-end. Boasting a ‘Piano Black’ finish, this snare looks as good as it sounds!
