Serious seven-string firepower.Legator's Ghost G7FSS is a compact, headless seven-string designed for players who want extended-range capability without the bulk of a conventional guitar. Its lightweight mahogany body, multiscale neck and active AfterShock humbuckers make it a focused option for modern metal, progressive styles and lower tunings, while the Death Valley finish gives it a more understated look than the brighter Ghost variants. The 38mm-thick mahogany body keeps the guitar easy to handle both on the strap and when seated. The headless layout also gives the G7FSS a balanced feel, with less unnecessary length at either end of the instrument. This makes it particularly practical for travelling, home use and players who prefer a compact guitar that doesn’t get in the way.

The neck uses a 25.5"-26.5" multiscale design, adding extra tension to the lower strings while retaining a more familiar feel on the treble side. That combination is useful for lower tunings and heavier riffing, helping the low strings stay controlled without making bends and lead work feel unnecessarily stiff. A three-piece maple neck is paired with a carbon fibre composite truss rod for additional stability. The slim modern profile measures 17.5mm at the first fret and 18.5mm at the fourteenth, giving the G7FSS a fast, streamlined feel. The Richlite composite fingerboard has a 12"-16" compound radius, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and offset circle aluminium inlays, with the flatter upper-fret radius lending itself well to technical playing, bends and wider stretches.

The guitar is fitted with a pair of Legator AfterShock active humbuckers, controlled through a master volume, master tone and three-way blade switch. It’s a straightforward setup that keeps the controls familiar, while the active pickup configuration provides the output and response expected for high-gain playing. The bridge pickup is well suited to tight rhythm work, while the neck pickup gives you a fuller option for leads and heavier melodic parts. Legator’s exclusive locking headpiece and bridge provide secure string retention and reliable tuning, with the fixed design avoiding the balancing and maintenance associated with a tremolo system. Combined with the multiscale neck, the hardware makes the G7FSS a sensible choice for players who regularly use lower tunings and need consistent performance from a seven-string.

Finished in Death Valley with a satin finish, the Ghost G7FSS has a clean, modern appearance to match its practical design.
