WORLD-CLASS CONFIGURABILITY & TRANSIENT RESPONSEThe Lauten LA-120 is built around a US-made JFET to capture the vibrance and characteristics sounds with unprecedented realism and authenticity. The LA-120’s onboard sound-shaping removes the need for chainging mics swaps, saving you time. Go between a crisp, smooth to ribbon-like sounds at the flick of a switch. The hand-tuned 17mm capsules provide transparent, lifelike sound with a musical blend of transient response and natural compression, making the LA-120 a perfect choice for use on drum overheads, percussion, acoustic guitar, and piano.
The LA-120 signal path is hand-populated with high-resolution, low-distortion polypropylene capacitors and resistors, designed around a US-made JFET for articulate, uncoloured, and high-impact performance. Lauten Audio designed the LA-120 to excel in multiple applications, but you may want to use them on something extra loud. The optional in-line pads allow the LA-120s dynamic range and depth to be fully utilized on high SPL sound sources, making this a truly versatile microphone.
