Featuring a professional sound generation, large audio drum library and extensively programmed styles, it is capable off meeting the highest demands for live use, in the studio or at home.
The SD40 features a wide variety of professional-quality sounds, such as a stereo grand piano, multiple orchestral voices, new brass and sax sounds to a range guitars and basses. You also get a wide selection of tonewheel organ sounds with a true reproduction of the classic Rotary effect.

Intuitive WorkflowThe SD40 includes professional arranger section with 260 styles and a library of over 300 Latin percussion grooves and 200 audio drums. Each style has 4 variations with 4 fills, 4 breaks, 3 intros and 3 endings. The auto accompaniment was made so that you can change the voices, volume and effects of each style easily, then save them as a USER style.
The SD40's innovation is style modeling, allowing hundreds of audio drums, grooves, bass lines, piano, guitar and orchestra tracks to be selected from the built-in modeling library in in a few seconds. A range musical genres can be easily combined just by exchanging sounds and patterns.
User-Friendly and World-Class
integrated playerThe SD40 features a high-quality player that can play MP3, MP4, WAV or MIDI files. Cross fade, lead mute and multiple song search options are available. Lyrics, text and karaoke can be visibile on the display of the device, or visualized on an external monitor using the DVi connection. Become a DJ or karaoke host for the next party or event with the SD40.
Get connected3 USB hosts, 1 USB device for connection to a computer and an SD card connection are all included. The large touch screen display is very simple and easy to use. Brighness control allows you to adjust the brightness of the display, which is especially useful in darker settings, and the SD40 has a balanced microphone input (XLR) and a three-voice vocalizer that can be assigned to the arranger of the lead voice or MIDI file.
