The IPC 4U-4424 delivers serious density in a standard 4U form factor, providing 24 hot-swap drive bays directly accessible from the front panel. It’s a smart match for storage arrays, virtualisation hosts, media archives, or any deployment that benefits from large, fast access storage. Two extra bays inside offer a clean way to separate boot drives from the primary storage pool.
Cooling That Keeps Up
Cooling is handled at the chassis level right from day one. Three 120mm fans sit behind the drive module to push fresh air straight over every disk, while two 80mm rear fans handle the exhaust. When every drive bay is active, the layout keeps airflow moving efficiently from front to back, protecting both disks and system components under sustained activity.
Built-in SATA/SAS Backplane
Storage connectivity is built around an S-ATA/SAS hot-swap backplane featuring SFF-8643 ports, supporting enterprise SAS hardware as easily as high-capacity SATA. Quick release carriers and direct-access placement keep drive maintenance fast, especially in rack environments where uptime matters.
Hardware-Ready Layout
Compatibility is broad: Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, E-ATX and SSI-EEB motherboards all drop in cleanly, opening the door to anything from compact single-socket systems to full dual-CPU server boards. Full-length PCIe cards up to 345mm and CPU coolers up to 155mm are supported, making room for accelerator cards, RAID controllers and more demanding compute platforms. There’s also flexibility to choose either a standard ATX PSU or a redundant power supply setup.

A strong 1.0/1.2mm steel chassis provides a stiff frame built to survive rack use and frequent servicing.
