This is my first purchase of an Intel i7 CPU, and I have to say, I am not disappointed.
I use it for video editing and it performs like a dream with eight threads to utilize; it makes short work of rendering. I deliberately chose not to buy an alternate versions which included a cooler, as I have always hated the bog standard Intel offering, not to mention the fitting!

Good price point and solid performance make this a great core to any cad system. If your Mother board doesn't support Skylake Go get a new one!

I would recommend installing this processor, runs perfectly, and does not get hot, easy to install and unbelievable value from Scan. Highly recommend.

Works perfectly. No need for a nice box in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gangsta Bought the OEM only to find out that retail version was being sold for less else where!
This processor was listed as OEM and was about £30 cheaper than the retail version.
OEM version is sold in a very basic cardboard packaging. The CPU itself was as expected, but was returned without opening the box as I found that retail version could be bought cheaper at another online site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Danpsl Modern powerful CPU
It's pretty much what you'd expect from the latest in the line of Intel CPUs. As always a little expensive at this point in the range and the release cycle, but does the job and a good upgrade on my 5 year old CPU.
