The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

In Win GR One Gaming Case Full Tower Case Gunmetal Grey with USB 3.0 & HDD Swap Dock Side Window w/o PSU is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great case, if a little tacky Bought this case for my new build. The case is pretty big! Lots and lots of room on the inside for everything you could ever need. The cable management is good allowing you to arrange all of your cables behind the motherboard to keep things looking nice. The quick access hard drive bays are awesome and the top mounted SATA dock is also a great feature. Even with 5 fans this thing is VERY quiet, much quieter than my old build. The air flow is great keeping my components lovely and cool. The only real things I dislike about it are how the front of the case looks and the fact my power LED doesn't work. Seriously, I reckon they could have made the front of the case look a bit more quality, it's very plasticky and the moulded in "screws" look out of place in my opinion. It's not a deal breaker, nor does it affect the cases operation in anyway, it's just more of a personal gripe. The power LED not working I can live with, I don't fancy breaking my PC down just to get the case swapped out by Scan, not that it would be a problem for them. :-) Overall I rate it at 4/5 due to the failed LED and the tacky (in my opinion) front. I would recommend it though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slight issues with fans The 3 front fans are really good quality, however the two other fans had warped and thus made a lot of noise, overall the case is off good build and the ventilation as so far proved adequate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I wanted a very large case to house my lovely techno goodies & this fit the job perfectly. So much room i could rent it out to a small family:) Very easy to work with, very well made & all components fitted perfectly. The addition of the sata hot swap at the top of the case is very handy. It has 5 fans included & the 3 at the front light up with red LED's. Now i can see all the money i spent on my rig through the very large smoked window in the side, now to look for some dark blue LED strip lights to go inside..

Questions & Answers

Is there space for a 240mm radiator?

I'm hoping to get a corsair h100i so I need to know if there is space for it.
Asked by: DaveCapper
In the top of the case there is room for 3 x 120/140mm fans therefore you should be able to mount a 240mm radiator in the top of this case.

Front I/O pannel

the front io pannel, what connectors does it need for a motherboard.im looking at a haswell 1150 and a pci 3.0 gpu recommendations?. also will and atx power supply fit in even if it is a v2.4 atx?
Asked by: Kossssss
Hello, You would need one USB 3 header and 1 USB 2 header along with one HD audio header on the motherboard. This will fit any ATX Power supply. Thanks,
