Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW What a great idea if you don't have much room in your case. This allowed me to remove all my hd drive bays in my antec 300 case which gave me better air flow! so I could have 2 ssd's and a 3.5" hd in one 5.25 bay. 20 January 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This should be standard in all cases Pretty amazing product. It can fit one HDD and two SSD in only ONE 5.25'' BAY! As nobody uses 5.25 Bays any more this is pretty useful. It improved the airflow and overall appearance of my case. The HDD is no longer in the way of the front fans and temps got a lot better. I think this should be standard in all cases, the 5.25 bay is the the place to be for HDDs and SSDs. 22 August 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by New X-99 Build I bought this to mount my hard drive in the 5.25 bay, however the screws did not line up with the holes in my case so I was unable to use it. It was very cheap however, so I guess you get what you pay for. I could probably get it to fit with a bit of tinkering, but had another solution available, so went with that instead. That said, the hard drive did fit in perfectly as did 2 ssds, so If you can get it to fit your case, its worth a try. 22 April 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A really cool piece of kit. This is one of my finer purchases. Pull out that old CD drive and pop this bad boy in. It takes 2x 2.5 disks AND 1x 3.5 disk. Careful with heat though - the CD bays usually don't have very good cooling. I'm running it with 2x 500GB 7200rpm HGST disks and 1x 4TB 7200rpm HGST disk. The 4TB disk will occasionally get as hot as 46 C. 02 April 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just the ticket - but read the manual! This was just the ticket for fitting my new SSD when I had only a 5 1/4" bay left. Read the manual before fitting though, it says how to blank the hole you'll otherwise get on the front. 18 August 2014

Would heat be an issue?

Would heat become an issue for the drives by using this? They seem a bit close together to allow for airflow, and a hard drive can get quite warm.
