Newly bought or used for a long time - but what is this small bay in a PC case? The 3.5" (floppy) bay in the front of most cases was used frequently in the past, but is now of little significance. The IB-HUB1418-i3 provides three USB Type-C™ and one Type-A connectors to fill the unused space with current connectors.

The USB 3.0 standard provides up to 5 Gbit/s read and write speed, allowing external SATA III hard drives to be full used for the first time. This allows data to be transferred even faster and minimises waiting time. The USB Type-C™ connection also ensures frustration-free use of USB devices, as these can be connected in a reversible manner.
