Two for One

IB-AC703-U3 for a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD consists of an adapter SATA III to USB 3.0 and a plastic enclosure. You can use them separately or together. Use the USB 3.0 interface to connect the adapter directly to a computer, multi media player or the like and your data transfer can reach up to 5 Gbit/s.


Fast Data Transfer

The IB-AC703-U3 can achieve up to 5 Gbit/s with USB 3.0. This means fast data transfer and reliability! The adapter supports Hot Swap and Plug and Play so driver-free start-up and rapid exchange is possible.


Always at Your Side

Together with the provided protection case (max. HDD height 9.5 mm) your harddisk is protected from schock and dust. With the universal USB 3.0 interface there is always a way to connect and exchange data. Thanks to the driverless plug & play feature its fast and easy to connect to any PC.


A Practical Duo

The 2.5" SATA to USB 3.0 HDD adapter can be used alone or in combination with the supplied plastic protective box. The advantage of the adapter compared to an external hard drive enclosures is that you can change the hard disk quickly without screws or any other tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful when switching from mechanical to SSD Our laptop had got horribly slow as a result of the Windows 10 upgrade (from Windows 8) clobbering the mechanicl hard drive resulting in it being constantly pegged at 100%. We finally bit the bullet and stumped up for an SSD but didn't want to throw the old hard drive away and also wanted to make sure we could transfer all our files and settings across to the new drive. This item served our needs perfectly and was up and running a couple of minutes after opening the packaging. No tools required - simply pop two catches open, slot the 2.5'' drive into the box, connect the controller / USB3 cable and snap the two clips closed. PC detected and mounted the drive within seconds of plugging it into a USB port and with USB3 performance the speed of transfer was pretty nippy. One of the best features about this device is that the 2.5'' drive can be swapped in seconds should we need to.
