Based on the original Power Series guitars, it combines that unmistakable angular body and reverse headstock with the fast Super Wizard neck, Edge tremolo and a straightforward HH pickup setup. The basswood body gives the 540PIIIHH a familiar foundation, while the unusual P-series shape is more than just a visual throwback. The body is contoured around the playing position, with good access across the 24-fret neck and plenty of the aggressive character that made these guitars stand out in the first place.

The Super Wizard 5-piece maple/walnut neck is the real giveaway that this is an Ibanez built for speed. Measuring just 17mm at the first fret and 19mm at the 12th, it's a properly slim profile, while the 430mm radius and jumbo frets provide a smooth platform for fast single-note work, legato and technical playing. The bound rosewood fingerboard is finished with the classic White Sharktooth inlays.
