The RocketU 1388D is HighPoint's 2nd generation 8-Port 10Gb/s USB 3.2 HBA, and is designed to tackle high-speed data acquisition and transfer workflows for industrial applications. Like its predecessor, the RocketU 1388D's eight USB Type-C can deliver up to 10Gb/s of transfer bandwidth, and are backed by a robust PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface

Each of the RocketU 1388D's eight Type-C ports can support up to 10G (1000MB/s) of transfer bandwidth, and are capable of delivering up to 7.5W of power for device operation or charging purposes.
The RocketU 1388D HBA can be easily integrated into workstation and server environments designed to host professional media and industrial applications. The eight industry-standard Type-C USB ports and PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface can easily accommodate a wide range of high-speed data acquisition solutions, including imaging and capture solutions, security systems, and media archiving.
