The RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 delivers robust RAID protection, high-performance data throughput, and mass-storage capability via a single Thunderbolt 3 connection. Each RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 is powered by their Turbo RAID technology and features two external mini-SAS ports (SFF-8088) which can directly support up to eight SAS/SATA drives and 112TB of storage in one or more RAID configurations.
Designed with maximum portability in mind, the RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 is a suitable RAID and storage connectivity solution for today's mobile professional. Designed for work in the field and on-site post-production environments, the built-in RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and JBOD arrays, and delivers performance and data protection needed by professional applications.
Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Windows and Mac Systems
Like all HighPoint Thunderbolt 3 I/O aolutions, the RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 was designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. Eight 6 Gb/s SAS/SATA ports can be added to most Thunderbolt 3 Windows or Mac systems using a single cable connection. The slim enclosure includes a pre-installed SAS/SATA RAID controller and extensive driver support is available for both Windows and Mac platforms.
Compatible with macOS RAID Arrays & RocketRAID Configurations
Designed to simplify and streamline storage integration for Thunderbolt 3 platforms, the RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 is fully backwards compatible with all previous and current HighPoint RAID controllers, and includes built-support for Apple RAID configurations created with the macOS Disk Utility. Comprehensive RAID & Storage Management Interface
The RocketStor 6661A-mSAS2 includes HighPoint's intuitive web-based management suite which enables the user-friendly configuration up to eight SAS/SATA drives and 112TB of storage into one or more RAID configurations. A wide range of proactive maintenance and monitoring capabilities work ensure the health of RAID storage investments and minimize downtime. With a few simple clicks, users can check the available storage capacity, the condition of any arrays and all hosted drives, and enable auto-rebuild and hot spare features that add additional layers of data security to redundant arrays. Users can also schedule maintenance sessions to verify disk integrity and enable e-mail notifications to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment.
