Thermal Armor Fin ArrayGigabyte have designed their VRM cooling solution to provide up to four times more surface area than traditional coolers, with a full-metal, one-piece moulded heatsink design. With more grooves and fins, there are an increased number of channels for air to flow over the heatsink and draw heat away from capacitors and chokes. A dedicated heatpipe assists with efficient heat transfer and a 7W/mK themal pad is also included for extra thermal conductivity.
