GIGABYTE ME03-CE0
The GIGABYTE ME03-CE0 is an ATX motherboard built for the AMD EPYC™ 8004 Series, delivering dense compute performance, energy-efficient operation, and high-bandwidth connectivity. Featuring 12 DIMM DDR5 slots, PCIe Gen5 and Gen4 expansion, dual 10Gb/s LAN, and comprehensive remote management via Aspeed® AST2600, it supports cloud, edge, storage, and SMB workloads. With optional TPM 2.0 security, low TDP, and compact form factor design, the ME03-CE0 combines cost-conscious platform economics with advanced server functionality, backed by GIGABYTE Management Console and Server Management (GSM) for real-time monitoring and cluster-level administration.
Built for AMD EPYC™ 8004 Workstation Processors
The ME03-CE0 is built for AMD EPYC™ 8004 Series processors, supporting a single processor based on 5nm technology. Designed around the SP6 socket, it delivers next-generation compute density with Zen 4c cores, DDR5 memory, and PCIe 5.0 connectivity. The platform targets cloud service providers, edge/telco, storage, and SMB deployments seeking stronger performance per watt and performance per pound.
6-Channel DDR5 with ECC
Supporting 6-channel RDIMM DDR5 across 12 DIMM slots, the board increases memory throughput and enables higher DDR5 capacity. ECC support ensures data reliability, making it suitable for general-purpose workloads and storage environments that demand consistent memory performance.
High-Bandwidth I/O at Scale
The ME03-CE0 features 3 x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and 3 x PCIe Gen4 x16 and x8 slots, delivering expanded bandwidth for accelerators, storage controllers, and high-speed networking. With PCIe 5.0 lanes providing up to 128GB/s bandwidth and support for CXL 1.1+, the platform enables disaggregated compute architectures via Compute Express Link. Storage flexibility is delivered through 3 x MCIO 4i connectors supporting either 3 x Gen5 NVMe or 12 x SATA, alongside 1 x M.2 slot (PCIe Gen3 x4 interface) for additional boot or application drives.
Dual 10GbE + Dedicated Management
Connectivity includes 2 x 10Gb/s BASE-T LAN ports for high-throughput networking, complemented by 1 x dedicated management port for out-of-band access. Signal integrity is engineered to meet PCIe 5.0 requirements, supporting fast and stable connectivity for next-generation deployments.
Aspeed® AST2600 Controller
An integrated Aspeed® AST2600 remote management controller provides hardware-level administration. Optional TPM 2.0 modules (SPI or LPC interface) enable hardware-based authentication, securely storing passwords, encryption keys, and digital certificates to prevent unauthorized access.
Lower TDP, Reduced BOM
Built on AMD’s 5nm “Zen 4c” architecture, the EPYC 8004 Series achieves higher performance per watt and per dollar while retaining PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 with ECC support. The SP6 socket lowers bill-of-material cost while maintaining upgrade potential. As the lowest TDP processors in the EPYC portfolio, they enable smaller form factor server designs suited for shallow depth and compact footprints.
GIGABYTE Management Console
Each server includes the GIGABYTE Management Console, pre-installed for real-time health monitoring and maintenance through a browser-based GUI. It supports standard IPMI specifications, enabling service integration through an open interface. Automatic event recording captures system behavior 30 seconds prior to an event, simplifying root cause analysis. SAS/SATA/NVMe devices and RAID controller firmware, including Broadcom® MegaRAID adapters, can be monitored and controlled directly from the console.
GIGABYTE Server Management (GSM)
GSM is a downloadable software suite for managing clusters of servers simultaneously over the internet, with support for Windows and Linux. Compliant with IPMI and Redfish standards, GSM includes:
• GSM Server – Real-time remote control via GUI for large clusters
• GSM CLI – Command-line monitoring and management
• GSM Agent – Installed on each node to retrieve OS-level system and device data
• GSM Mobile – Android and iOS app for live system information
• GSM Plugin – API enabling VMware vCenter-based monitoring and management
Validated for Demanding Workloads
GIGABYTE servers and motherboards are tested to ensure peak performance for demanding CPU workloads, with support for the latest technologies. Systems are rigorously designed and validated to maintain stable, around-the-clock operation. Energy efficiency is enhanced through customized fan curves and PSU options, including Titanium or Platinum ratings, enabling lower total cost of ownership across long deployment cycles.
