Aorus All-Round Cooling Solution

1080 Ti Windforce Cooling System

AORUS provides the all-around cooling solution for all key components of the graphics card. We take care not only GPU but also VRAM and MOSFET, to ensure a stable overclock operation and longer life. On the front side, the large copper base plate dissipates the most heat from the GPU and VRAM. On the back side, the copper back plate dissipates the heat from the GPU back side. All other key components are taken care of very well by the WINDFORCE cooling module. AORUS ensures the customer a better cooling solution in many ways.

Advanced Aorus Fan Cooling

1080 Ti Windforce Cooling System

All new WINDFORCE Stack cooling with 3x 100mm fans in an innovative stacking structure for enhanced heat dissipation. The 3x 100mm stack fans provide larger and more smooth airflow. And with more heatsink coverage than 3x 80mm fans, WINDFORCE stack fans will have 10% better cooling performance. Make 3x 100mm stack fans into less than 300mm length area. To concentrate and enlarge the airflow on the whole heatsink for the most efficient heat dissipation.

Double Ball Bearing

The double ball bearing structure has better heat endurance and efficiency than sleeve structure.

Unique Blade Fans

The airflow is spilt by the triangle fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface, effectively enhancing the airflow by 23% over the traditional fans.

Alternate Spinning

The middle fan spins in the reverse direction to optimize the airflow to dissipate the heat more effective for accomplishing higher performance at a lower temperature.

3D Active Fans

The AORUS 1080Ti are equipped with 3D-Active Fan. The fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming. The LED fan indicator on the top of the graphics card provides an instant display of the fan status.

Angled Fin Fan Design

Angular Fin Design Increases 1080 Ti Cooling

The angular and unequal fins height does not only channel the airflow through the fins and enlarge the contact surface, but also results in a lower noise level and better cooling capacity for your 1080.

RGB Lighting Effects

Gigabyte Aorus RGB FUSION

With 16.8M customizable color options and numerous lighting effects, you could now choose the right scheme for your gaming rig through AORUS graphics engine.

Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GDDR5X VR Ready Graphics Card, 3584 Core, 1569MHz GPU, 1683MHz Boost is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for, would recommend if you're looking in this price range Effortlessly holds 60 fps on gta V in 5760x1080, ~90 fps in Dying Light in 5760x1080. Very good card, I would say the card is outperforming my monitors as the frame rate is too high! Certainly not complaining, this is the most satisfied I've been with a GPU.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb card. I've been running this card for a couple of weeks now and the performance compared to my OC'd GTX 980ti is amazing. This has transformed the experience when using my HTC Vive. Where before I was running supersampling at about 1.4 with in game options set to about medium, now I can run with supersampling set to 2 and all the options set to ultra. The difference is like night and day. One other review says they can't get the PC past post with this card in. I had the same issue with my 980ti and it turn out to be the Display Port connection. Display Port seems to be really picky about which cable you use so it was likely that that was the issue. The only negative I can say about this card is that when I bought it from Scan a couple of weeks ago it was £50 more expensive than it is now. I can't see how it can have dropped that much in price in two weeks so feeling a rather cheated right now!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pc would not post with this gpu The structure surrounding the fans is cheap and flimsy. The gpu was delivered without the game bundle. Need to RMA, wasted 2+hrs trying to make it work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An all metal shrouded beast Silent and gorgeous. It's an all metal shroud, unlike the EVGA variant. It has very few plastic components apart from the LED bits around it. The LED stuff is a gimmick but a nice addition if you do have a side window. Due to the massive array of heat pipes and cooling coils, it remains very silent. I find that the fans rarely get to 40% speed in demanding games at 1440p and the fans stop when there is light load as it can passively cool itself (I have good airflow in my case so that it may be different for you). It comes nicely overclocked and in a gorgeous all-metal shroud and backplate. It has three silent fans, and the backplate is an actual cooling backplate with a copper shim, it is not just for show! The Aorus software used to change the modes (OC, Gaming, and Silent) works but it looks a bit tacky and needs a new look. It came with only a PCIe power splitter which I thought was a bit iffy but that being said I did not need any adaptors and if you do you can probably afford them separately, it would have been nice though considering the price. I would say it is worth the extra money compared to the stock or founders editions. If you are going to spend £700 on a high-end card like this, you might as well thrown in another £100 and get geared up custom cooler one, and I have always found Gigabytes to be a good purchase. You can see the benchmarks and the full rundown by the professionals elsewhere. In the photos, I know my PC needs a good de-dusting.
