The 7040A makes the perfect complement to Genelec’s hugely popular 8010A and 8020A monitors. It furthers the low-frequency response right down to a lowly 30Hz and utilises Genelec’s patented Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) technology to offer both accurate bass detail and extended low-frequency capacity. Once put to work in a stereo setup, the 7040A is capable of producing 100dB of distortion-free SPL via the 6.5” woofer and Class-D amplifier.

Superior management skillsOnboard bass management technology enables the 7040A to filter LF information from the main channels and take responsibility for handling it – thus increasing the headroom and reducing the distortion of the main monitors, which can then focus their energies on the rest of the frequency spectrum.
