Rated 3 out of 5 by Sotos from Good on paper but disappointing build quality I bought this case as a good value serious looking PC case (without any RGB stuff, no glass panels, etc) so it looks like a professional sleeper PC. Overall the case works well and I was able to fit a Ryzen 3600 and Powercolor 5600xt easily. I like the PSU on top as my room has a carpet and I just didn't trust the PSU intake on the floor on bottom PC cases. My main grudge with this case is the build quality. The front panel is not securely attached and when I put out the USB stick it is removed. The laches arrived broken or maybe that is the design? Also, the case has very poor sound dampening, I can hear all the fans especially when I load a game and the GPU gears up. Overall I was quite negatively surprised by the build quality as it feels way worse than my old cheap Dell optiplex which had proper metal casing instead of all plastic here. Very good 120mm fan - no sound there. I added a 90mm exhaust fan and is all good. So overall a good case but disappointing build quality. It is cheap rather than cheerful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nigel2357 from Nice Economy case This is a very good-looking fairly compact economy case. With the supplied fan, and a standard Intel cooler on a 65W CPU, it's also nicely quiet. Great value for money, though I'd not be keen on trying to install an internal 5.25 inch drive. Ignore the instructions. If yours comes with the front fan pre-installed as per Scan descriotion (and mine did) there's absolutely no reason to remove the front panel. If you are installing only 2.5 inch disks or SSDs there is no reason to remove the hard drive bracket either, though that's much easier to do. Also note that the wire for the fan is separate from the other wires and if you do not make it accessible before installing the motherboard and CPU, it's a pain. It's made of rather thin steel which makes it light in weight (good) but perhaps vulnerable to damage if it gets banged around in a packing crate during a move. All minor points. Great value for money. No sharp edges that I found (i.e. no blood shed assembling my system)

Rated 3 out of 5 by deegee from Not as described / pictured... Case isn't bad for the price, but the one I received didn't have the front fan fitted as per description. Also the pictures show the case to have the Fractal Design logo on the front bottom. The one I got was just blank here. I spoke to the Scan customer services but they said the photos were just representative - sounded a bit fishy to me... So in summary, if the logo and fan are important to you, it might be better to look at another supplier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zaphodbeeblebrox from Good economy case. The case is very good but: 1. The 120mm front intake fan was pre-installed the wrong way round so it was acting as an exhaust fan! 2. FD say to fit the top mounted psu first but I found that it gets in the way, For what its worth I found this the best order: With motherboard on a flat surface: fit the power leads from the psu to the motherboard (they are a tight fit) and then cpu and cooler. Next fit the motherboard. Now fit the psu, then everything else. 3. The FD 120mm fan and the rear FD 92mm fan I added are quiet. Overall a nice cheap case,

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kane856 from Nice basic case Used this case for a budget AMD APU based build - not as high quality as the higher end Fractal cases but at the price it's a bargain. Nice design makes it easy to build in although there's a lack of cable tie downs which wasn't a huge problem for me - with the single 120mm supplied fan and running an AMD A6 cpu with the stock cooler the machine is VERY quiet - would I buy another one? Definately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeckulz from Nice Suprise Got one of these last minute for a friend's PC. The Core 1000 was out of stock and the chap at scan suggested this instead. The internal layout is exactly the same as the 1000, but it has two narrow vent slots down each front corner instead of a wide open filtered front intake. Noise IS slightly lower than in the 1000 (used previously), and with fractal's usual build quality - Would happily recommend.
