Inside, dual ES9068AS DAC chips handle the left and right channels, with support for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256. There’s a 3.5mm single-ended output alongside a 4.4mm connection, and both can operate simultaneously — handy if you want to switch between headphones or have two pairs connected at once. The 4.4mm output uses an internally unbalanced design, so it’s there for connector compatibility rather than providing a true balanced signal path.

The Tiny B also gives you useful control rather than simply acting as a plug-and-play converter. Through the FiiO Control app or web interface, you can access a 10-band parametric EQ, adjust volume and channel balance, and switch between UAC 1.0 and 2.0 modes. Inline microphone controls are supported too, making it useful for calls, gaming and everyday listening as well as dedicated music playback.
