A flagship player with dual ES9039SPro DACsThe FiiO M27 is FiiO's reference-class portable Hi-Fi player, built around a desktop-grade audio architecture and a seriously capable amplification section. At its core are dual ES9039SPro DACs, a high-capacity FPGA and dual femtosecond crystal oscillators, giving the M27 a precision digital front end designed for demanding high-resolution playback. The amplification section is where the M27 really sets itself apart from conventional digital audio players. It delivers up to 5W + 5W of output in its highest-power configuration, with 3.5mm, 6.35mm and 4.4mm headphone connections covering everything from sensitive IEMs to demanding full-size headphones. A dedicated power input also allows the M27 to operate as a high-power desktop source rather than relying solely on its battery.
Running Android 13 on Qualcomm's Dragonwing 6490 platform with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the M27 has the processing power to handle modern streaming and playback apps without compromising its dedicated audio hardware. Dual microSD slots add support for up to 4TB of additional storage, while Wi-Fi, AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth give you plenty of ways to get music into the player. Bluetooth is handled by Qualcomm's QCC5181, with support for LDAC and aptX Lossless alongside a wide range of other codecs. There's also 31-band parametric EQ with AUTO EQ, plus coaxial and optical connectivity for integrating the M27 into a wider digital system.
Despite the desktop-level specification, the M27 remains genuinely portable, with a 9,200mAh battery and a compact 157.4 × 85.1 × 28mm chassis. It's an uncompromising option for anyone who wants flagship headphone amplification and reference-level digital playback without being tied permanently to a rack or desktop system.
