Audio firstFiiO addressed the typical low-frequency leakage found in classic on-ear designs by implementing a bass-optimized driver in the EH11. These on-ear headphones' audio quality is anything but 'retro', offering far more than just adequate sound.
A 40mm long-throw driver with a high-damping composite diaphragm pushes the resonant frequency down to 60Hz. This allows the EH11 to achieve powerful, dynamic bass extending down to 17Hz, allowing it to capture the full spectrum of low-frequency instruments. You'll experience sharper attack and decay on drums, plus superior instrument separation and layered depth when enjoying intricate classical pieces.
Ventilated Comfort and Minimized Sound Leakage
Semi-Open DesignThe headphones' semi-open design, with ventilation ports and damping filters, eliminates the 'stuffy' feel typically associated with closed-back headphones.
The result is a more open soundstage, clearer mid-to-high frequencies, as well as more natural and transparent vocals. Compared to fully open-backed headphones, the damping system controls air flow to minimize sound leakage.
