For this reason, Fender chose to use a laminated spruce top upon a laminated basswood back and sides. As the top wood is the most important wood on any acoustic guitar, you can rest assured that the FA-115 will deliver great tones for years to come.
The FA-115’s neck is made from nato and features a wonderfully comfortable neck profile which sits in the fretting hand in an extremely comfortable manner, perfect for learning your favourite songs.
