Solid Spruce Top

scalloped "X"-bracingOne of the key things to seek out when looking for your next acoustic guitar is good, solid tone woods. For this reason, Fender chose to use a genuine solid spruce top upon a laminated mahogany body. As the top wood is the most important wood on any acoustic guitar, you can rest assured that the CD-140SCE will deliver stunning tones for years to come.
Similar to the back and sides, the CD-140SCE’s neck is made from mahogany and features a wonderfully comfortable ‘C’ shaped neck which sits in the fretting hand in an extremely comfortable manner.
