The decay time of a real room often changes a lot over the frequency spectrum, this is one of the key ingredients of a room's reverb character. To simulate this, the industry-first Decay Rate EQ concept in FabFilter Pro-R gives you completely free adjustment of the decay time over the frequency spectrum.

As it uses parametric EQ bands instead of a traditional crossover system, it delivers much more flexibility to shape the decay time characteristics. Along with the integrated 6-band Post-EQ, designing reverbs of any style or character has never been easier.

Lifesaver & TimesaverRather than conventionally splitting the whole spectrum with crossovers, Pro-MB allows you to directly create a new band at the frequency range you want to work on. Think bands instead of crossovers. The interactive multiband display shows clearly that the rest of the spectrum stays untouched. And if you wish, you can easily snap bands together to recreate a traditional crossover system.

FabFilter Pro-MB introduces a unique Dynamic Phase processing mode. It has the exact same frequency response as traditional multiband processing, but doesn't include latency or pre-ringing, and only introduces minimal phase changes when the gain actually changes. Also included is an excellent Linear Phase mode and a traditional Minimum Phase mode.

Optimized WorkflowThe Pro-C 2 Compressor Plug-In from FabFilter delivers eight separate program-dependent compression styles with great sound and dynamics. Along with the standard compressor controls, you get a smooth lookahead, up to 4x oversampling, clever auto-gain/auto-release, a variable knee, hold, range, external side-chain triggering, variable stereo linking and mid/side processing, all provided in an intuitive retina user interface.

The new redesigned interface found in the Pro-C 2 gives you detailed visual metering and real-time displays that will improve any workflow. The large animated level/knee display shows exactly when, why and how compression is used on incoming audio. Accurate level meters display the exact peak and loudness values, whilst the circular side-chain input meter turns finding the perfect threshold setting into a complex task. The large side-chain EQ controller makes it easier than ever to filter the trigger signal however you want it.

Everything You NeedThe FabFilter Pro-DS De-Esser Software is used in post-production to fix any compression or saturation found in vocal recordings. It works great when used in recording studios, composition, sound design and even film editing. This plug in accurately identifies sibilance in vocal recordings and attenuates it transparently.

When using the ‘Allround’ setting the Pro-DS works as a fantastic tool for high-frequency limiting and can be used on pretty much anything, such as, drums or even full mixes. It also features wide band or linear-phase split band processing, an optional look-ahead of up to 15 ms, adjustable stereo linking with optional mid-only or side-only processing, up to four times linear-phase oversampling, everything you need to get the best possible result.

Clear & Precise MeteringThe FabFilter Pro-G not only provides not only good sound, but very flexible routing. You can select between mono, stereo or mid/side processing and in expert mode, external side chain input is optional with fully customizable channel linking and routing.

This plug-in also uses smart input/output level meters with a real time level display and transfer curve together for more effective use. Everything was designed purposely to give clear feedback on the current gate/expander settings and processing, allowing you to set them up easily.

Amazing Oscillators, Unique FiltersThe FabFilter One Plug-In was designed with in depth effort in making the best cut-off filter ever. The design approach has resulted in the fattest and smoothest self-oscillating digital filter possible. It has been carefully edited to achieve the character and warmth of a classic analog synthesizer. FabFilter One’s filter sounds natural and raw, even at full resonance.

The filter is fed by a high-quality solid-sounding oscillator, designed from scratch to be completely aliasing-free. It comes with sawtooth, triangle, and square wave forms with pulse width modulation. The oscillator and the filter can be modulated by the LFO and the EG. The LFO delivers triangle and square wave forms, with editable wave balance so any wave form between sawtooth and triangle can be selected. The tempo can be synchronized to the host. The EG has the usual ADSR knobs, but with a perfectly fine-tuned feel. It also has an extra Hold setting that extends the time keys are held down.

What the FabFilter One is great at is the attention to detail and fine-tuning that is visible throughout the plug-in. For example, the portamento feature doesn't just slide from one note to another, but uses a carefully selected algorithm to make your playing sound more real and give it an extra bit of life. Smart Parameter Interpolation handles changes to any of FabFilter One's parameters, making sure both responsiveness and smooth transitions. There are no irritating digital clicks and zipper effects, and even MIDI controller changes are handled perfectly well.

Simple Yet EffectiveFabFilter Simplon's filters were originally developed for the FabFilter One. These filters were designed from the ground up to be the largest sounding and smoothest self-oscillating digital filters possible. Simplon's filters sound natural but not cheap or ‘digital’, even at full resonance.

Each filter delivers three different filter styles that define the unique sound and overdrive of the filter. They vary from smooth filters with moderate overdrive to raw, self-oscillating chaos. Together with the response and slope settings, the FabFilter Simplon delivers up to 27 different filter types.

You can edit the filters using the Simplon's large interactive filter display that displays both filter curves and allows you to drag them around. You can edit the filters separately or simultaneously.

The Classic FabFilter SoundThe FabFilter Micro comes with a single filter that sounds slick and smooth, but can easily turn into raw saturation and self-oscillation when edited using the interactive filter display. It comes with low-pass and high-pass shapes and an envelope follower to modulate the cut-off frequency.

With the seperate Input Gain and Output Gain parameters, you can take full control of the saturation of the internal filter, making FabFilter Micro not only perfectly suited for basic filtering tasks, but also can create wonderful distortion and analog saturation effects.
